Wayne began his adventure into radio while attending LSU in Baton Rouge studying Broadcast Journalism back in 1975. He then ventured down the highway spending 3 years at WNOE/New Orleans, but when they flipped to country, Wayne went shooting up Highway 61 to Baton Rouge for a 3 year stay at WFMF. WRNO stole him away for a 7 year stint back in New Orleans, rounding out the 80's, then he jumped 'cross street to WCKW, until 1995 when the Mississippi Gulf Coast called needing a new rock radio station...Wayne, Kenny Vest and Scot Fox built 97.9 WCPR from the ground up. Wayne segued to 105.9 in 1997, when a new radio group was formed, and the rest is still to be written...
